Bird Baths

These bird baths are designed to help you encourage wild birds into your garden - they also make wonderful garden ornaments in their own right. Our range is constructed in stone (reconstituted and solid) and resin (or polystone). The majority of our stone bird baths are made in the UK by skilled craftsman, all of them are durable and hard-wearing and will give many years of service.
Birdwatching is a fascinating and rewarding hobby that can be carried out all year-round from the comfort of your own home. Not only is very enjoyable but also very satisfying, knowing you are doing your bit to help mother nature.
Some guidelines to help you:
The bowl part of the bird bath should not be too deep in the centre and have a slightly rough surface that will enable the birds to have a firm grip.
Place your bird bath far enough away from trees, shrubs, and fences, so that neighbourhood cats won't prey on them.
Keep your bird bath topped up all year round (birds can become dehydrated in winter as well as summer). And change the water regularly to avoid contamination and bacteria growth.
Make sure your bird bath is cleaned at least once a month. Most can be cleaned with a solution of bleach and water (3/4 cup bleach to 1 gallon of water). You may also need to scrub the bowl part with a stiff brush to remove any algae. Do not add algae killer to the water.
